Platinum Jubilee of Bethany Educational Society cum Parents' Day celebration 2023

Bethany School, Sulantu, West Bengal, celebrated the operatic closing ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee of Bethany Educational Society cum Parents’ Day with a cultural programme on Thursday, 14th September 2023. The event was held at the school auditorium and was attended by the management, staff, students and parents. The chief guest for the day was Mr. Debabrata Jana, B. D. O of Purbasthali-1. In his address he stressed on the importance of education and the role of the school in shaping the future of a learner and the nation. He congratulated Bethany Educational Society on it's Platinum Jubilee. The programme began with a prayer song. The principal, Sr. Premitha Pinto, spoke about the history of the school and the journey of BES over the past 75 years. She also highlighted the achievements in academics, sports and culture through the school report of the academic year 2022-23. The guests of honour were Sr. Ruth B.S and Mr Mithun Kumar Ghosh , O.C of Nadanghat Police station. Parents were invited to comprehend the magestic and colourful performances. The cultural program featured items by students from classes 7 to 12. The students presented a variety of items namely dance, song, mime, skits etc. The goosebumping moment was marked by the flute played by one among the instrumentalists. Thunderous claps were heard at the end of each event. The program was a huge success and was enjoyed by all. It was a celebration of the school’s rich history and its commitment to providing quality education to every student.
